National Institute for Professional Process Service

Course Objective

The Professional Process Servers Training Program is designed to provide the student with a fundamental working knowledge of the manner in which civil process is effectively served. The course objectives are

 
To provide the student with an understanding of the legal and judicial environment within which civil process is issued, served and utilized.
To educate the student on the nature and significance of various forms of civil process.
To instruct the student on how to properly serve civil process consistent with relevant court rules or statutes.
To assist the student in developing and demonstrating a proficiency in the service of civil process for use at work, or in meeting certification or licensing requirements.
To familiarize the student with Codes of Ethical and Professional Conduct.
